[The tablet reads it out in a flat, toneless voice. Kesara stares at it. Her heart starts to slam against her ribs.]

You messaged her, didn't you? Did you? You and Enoch? Where are you? Did you ask anyone else who is around there if they've seen her?

We're by your pass. I messaged her first thing I promise but she didnt say anything back so I'm trying to see if anybody else is nearby

[The pass, the tunnels, where everything had gone wrong and she has no idea, can't begin to imagine how. And she isn't there. She should have been there...]
